       In 2009, with the influence of global financial crisis, China’s economy did not go with the flow but made a progress. Wenzhou property market had grown by 33‰ which was really out of expectation. Thus, Wenzhou property investors aroused great attention from main medias and relevant departments of the government. With their sensitivity of perception, Wenzhou investors constantly made property investments in Taiwan, Hong Kong, America, Spain, France, Italy, Dubai etc. which had become their important investing targets     
       At the end of April 2009, the second phase of Wenzhou Lucheng Square project, a high-end property developed by Lucheng Group, sold nearly 100 luxury houses within two hours on the first opening day, with total value of 960 million RMB. The average price reached 50,000 yuan per square meters. At the same month, nearly 6,000 commercial residential houses were sold in the main urban area of Hangzhou, among which over 90% were purchased by people from Wenzhou and Taizhou districts.
      In May 2009, according to incomplete statistics, about 11.342 billion RMB of Wenzhou private capital was invested in Shanghai property market, high-end property included, and 1,732 houses were purchased. Nearly 300 billion out of total 800 billion Wenzhou private capital was invested in property market. Wenzhou investors invested over 100 billion RMB in Shanghai, Beijing and Hangzhou which has never ever happened to other prefecture-level cities of the country. 
      In consideration that high-end property has the capacity of value keeping, value rising and risk resistance, Wenzhou people favor investing those properties. Houses in good location, with high quality and risk resistance capacity are being “sold out” which rarely happened over the years. There is no doubt that Wenzhou investors have great ability of property consuming.
